WORSHIP MUSIC IS COMING TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION! – – – Music rests on the center of God’s heart and is vitally important in the life of God’s children. Music has the power to cast off demons, the ability to usher in the Holy Spirit, and is taking place at this very moment, in Heaven. God created music as a primary tool to draw us closer to him and it is critically important in our relationship with God.

In scripture, we find that God-centered-music has the power to cast off demonic influences, as it did in the case with King Saul when David played for him…

1 Samuel 16:23 – (NIV) – “Whenever the [demonic] spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play [pick up his musical instrument and play]. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.

We find in scripture that God-centered-music invites the Holy Spirit into the atmosphere, and the Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit) always delivers us God’s supernatural power when he enters our space (where we’re at)!

2 Kings 3:15 (NCV) – 15 “Now bring me someone who plays the harp. While the harp was being played, the Lord gave Elisha power.

2 Kings 3:15 (ESV) –15 But now bring me a musician.” And when the musician played, the hand of the Lord came upon him.”

Because of the importance of music at Lion of Judah, we are looking for partnerships with people gifted in music who have a heart for God. For those who play the flute, piano, violin, trumpet, cello, drums, sing, etc., we are inviting you to come to Lion of Judah, introduce yourself to the primary worship pastor “Pastor Joshua James” after services. We want to engage the calling you have for music and get you plugged into Lion of Judah’s worship team over the following season.

It’s never been more relevant to use your gifting to glorify God and minister to His people! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Why We Stand With Israel

Here at Lion of Judah, we believe the Word of God when it comes to standing with Israel. The scriptures are clear that Israel is a chosen nation and continues to be a chosen people. Paul writes in Romans 11: 1 that God has not rejected His people (Israel), has He? For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. Genesis 12:3 says that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those that curse Israel will be cursed.

Furthermore, the prophets Zechariah, Ezekiel, etc, write about Israel’s role in the Last Days and the return of Messiah Jesus. The Jewish people will be at the center of Jesus’ return and it is the responsibility of Jew and Gentile in Messiah to pray for the salvation of Israel.

John writes in Revelation 21:10-12 that a new Jerusalem will come down from Heaven with 12 gates inscribed with the 12 Tribes of Israel and the 12 Apostles. Our future home is this new Jerusalem where Jesus will be King and reign over all the earth.
