Lion of Judah Update – May 28, 2020:

Shalom Lion of Judah family!

We have exciting news! We have resumed services!

We wanted you to know we have been earnestly seeking wisdom concerning resuming services at Lion of Judah and are taking into account the latest recommendations/orders from the local and governmental authorities.

As of now, we are planning on starting our PHASE ONE introduction back to services the weekend of Shavuot (Friday, May 29 and Sunday, May 31). This is what PHASE ONE will look like…

LOFJ’S PHASE ONE: (services resume but under firm boundaries):

  • There will be no youth group, children’s class, adult classes or nursery available
  • Café stays closed and no Y4M snacks offered
  • Hand sanitizer stations are setup throughout the building and encouraged to be used
  • Ushers administer/direct staggered seating in the sanctuary – keeping appropriate distance (6ft) between congregants (except for families)
  • There will be no ministers of impartation (to avoid physical contact)
  • Physical greetings will be discouraged (no handshakes, hugging, etc.)
  • After services are over, congregants will be dismissed by an usher in single file lines
  • No after service lingering in building. If people would like to talk, outside is permitted (with social distancing encouraged).

LOFJ’S PHASE TWO:

  • Based on the comfort level of leadership, classes resume (Sunday Bible studies, mid-week classes), nursery opens, youth group resumes, etc.
  • Café stays closed and no youth for messiah snacks offered

LOFJ’S PHASE THREE:

  • Fully operational – no restrictions

In addition to having services at the building, we will continue streaming a live-to-tape webcast through our YouTube link. In this week’s episode, Pastor Joshua preaches on “Tongues of Fire & the God Who Speaks (a message about Shavuot/Pentecost”

ATTENTION: Please click on the “LION OF JUDAH WEBCAST #11” (red button below) at 10:30 AM, Sunday (May 31), to view this week’s webcast! Past webcasts are available on Lion of Judah World Outreach Center’s youtube channel. Just go to youtube.com, type in “Lion of Judah World Outreach Center Webcast.”

We are grateful for this opportunity to worship the Lord together through this unique way of communication (i.e. webcast) and hope that you will join us!

Additionally, due to the fact that Lion of Judah’s normal building maintenance costs and procedural expenses still continue during this season, we are asking you to stay faithful in your weekly giving of tithes/offerings.

Click the blue “DONATE” button below, and follow the simple instructions.  You can also send in your tithe/offerings to Lion of Judah World Outreach Center, 5732 Douglas Rd, Toledo, OH 43613, through the mail.

FINANCIAL FAITHFULNESS DURING THIS SEASON:

Additionally, because Lion of Judah’s regular building maintenance costs and procedural expenses continue during this season, we are asking you to stay faithful in your weekly giving of tithes/offerings.

Visit lionofjudahtoledo.org to tithe through our website. Instructions are on our home page of the website as well.

You can also send in your tithe/offerings to Lion of Judah World Outreach Center, directly through the mail, at 5732 Douglas Rd, Toledo, OH 43613. We are continuing to process tithes and offerings at the building once a week.

We’re contending for peace to all those affected by the virus. Jesus has overcome every obstacle we will ever face, and He is with each one of us during this unique challenge. We love you and are praying for you Lion of Judah! Make sure to watch our new webcasts released every Friday at 7 PM!

Joshua 1:9 (NASB) – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
